In-House Technical Support Representative.
We have an immediate Technical Support position available at our Foxboro Office. We are an IT Support Company and this is a full time position. The selected candidate will be providing phone and web streaming support to our small and mid-size business customers.
You will be the point person on all technical issues coming in and will then escalate them to the appropriate group. You will work on a small, close-knit team in a fast-paced highly energetic environment.
Responsibilities include:
* Receive trouble calls from customers via email or telephone
* Document and track all trouble tickets
* Perform basic troubleshooting and information gathering
* Resolve or Escalate problems reported
* Resolve or Escalate customer technical questions
* Ensure thorough documentation of issues
* Assist Managed Service Coordinator with technical projects
* Assist internal admin and sales staff with any computer issues
* Work on assigned projectsRequirements:
* 1-3 years of experience in a technical support role
* Excellent customer-service skills
* Excellent documentation ability
* Windows 2000 and XP, Office XP/2003, TCP/IP
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* BS or AS degree in a technology field is preferred
